God: St Matthew’s is a place for exploring faith, and what it means to follow Jesus in every aspect of our lives. Wherever you are on the faith journey, we welcome you, and invite you to explore it with us.
Food: Food brings people together – whether it’s a BBQ, fish and chips at the park or an elaborate dinner party.
People: St Matthew’s is about community, about people from different walks of life connecting with each other.
Our Logo: the logo we use is based on artwork by local Aboriginal elder Robyn Davis. Find out more about it.
Seeds Bendigo and the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo work in partnership to create a church that is open to the community.

Dear St Matthew’s team
I am a priest in Canberra and Goulburn diocese undertaking doctoral studies through Durham University. My research area is the theology and use of the Bible in the Australian Anglican Fresh Expression of Church.
My reason for writing was whether you identify St Matthew’s as a ‘fresh expressions’ church?As part of the field work for my thesis I am needing to send out surveys to Fresh Expression churches – if you have started something could I send a survey to you?
I was also hoping you might be able to find more Fresh Expression churches in your diocese.
