Garden Working Bee

On Saturday 25th of February we will be having a working bee for the ‘Hope…It Grows’ community garden at St Matthew’s church.

We will be clearing some of the fire hazards and there will be a free lunch as we prepare for the Festival in March.

St Matthew’s is having a festival to celebrate the end of the year – hope you can all be there!

Our hole-digging apparatus

Last weekend we dug the last hole in preparation for the rusted steel fencing panels – which will look amazing.

A committed, nameless, volunteer got down and dirty in the clay.

Prayer, Permaculture & the Poor

This discussion event is inspired in part by the “Hope…It Grows!” Community Garden at St Matthew’s.

Marcus will explore how some of the basic insights of Permanent Agriculture have influenced gardening and will consider how such principles might bear fruit in our own spiritual lives and those of disadvantaged communities.
