Dear St Matthew’s team

I am a priest in Canberra and Goulburn diocese undertaking doctoral studies through Durham University. My research area is the theology and use of the Bible in the Australian Anglican Fresh Expression of Church.

My reason for writing was whether you identify St Matthew’s as a ‘fresh expressions’ church?As part of the field work for my thesis I am needing to send out surveys to Fresh Expression churches – if you have started something could I send a survey to you?

I was also hoping you might be able to find more Fresh Expression churches in your diocese.

I really like your work! What a great idea. I’m a youth worker based at Centacare and I have a young bloke (18) who is interested in doing some voluntary work. He’s pretty keen on repairing bikes and I believe him to be a reliable worker. Would you be interested in meeting him and showing him some of the work you are doing? He might be able to help you out.
